HOLISTIC ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL ("HAIL", "we", "our" or "the school") provides educational and school services for learners, parents and guardians, teachers, staff and school leaders. This policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored and protected when our digital services are used.

Depending on the service, information may include account and contact details, learner and guardian relationships, class and school records, attendance, assignments, assessment and report information, fees and payment records, feeding records, notices, device information, support requests and learning progress.

Why we use information

We use information to provide education and school administration services, authenticate authorised users, maintain school records, support teaching and learning, communicate with families and staff, process school financial records, improve service reliability and meet legitimate safeguarding, accountability and legal obligations.

Children's information

Children's information is used for legitimate educational and school-administration purposes. Access is intended to be limited to authorised persons such as the learner, linked parent or guardian, assigned teachers and authorised school staff.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information to advertisers. Information may be processed by service providers that help us deliver school services, or disclosed where required by law, safeguarding obligations or legitimate school administration.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information and limit access to authorised users. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Retention and correction

School records may need to be retained for educational, financial, audit, safeguarding or legal reasons. Where appropriate, users may request correction of inaccurate information through the school.
